Note from Captain William Deckard...on the 2003 event

First of all, I want to send out a heart felt thankyou to all the units who supported us at our event in Decatur, AL. Since this was our first time hosting this event, I feel like it was a great success. We are so glad to have been given this opportunity.

Special thanks to Capt. Barry Bowden for his assistance at the registration table and officer's call. Thanks to Roger Hill and the rest of the Decatur SCV camp 580 who helped sponsor our event and kept things running smoothly. Thanks to Squee Bailey and the Decatur CVB for their assistance with getting the event off to a good start and bringing refreshements to the ball. We would also like to thank the Alabama Division for their support with our event.

Sincerely,
Captain William Deckard
